Halloween fun in Nursery
Nursery had some fun for Halloween. We had a dress up day and a party with games and food. We made Halloween cats and monster handprints. We also played in the slime mud kitchen outside and investigated the inside of a pumpkin. Spooky fun!
Outdoor in all weathers!
Nursery learn outside in our outdoor provision in all weathers. They love to put waterproofs and wellies on and go and jump in the puddles. Fun in the rain!
Autumn activities in Nursery

Nursery making gingerbread men and ladies
Nursery have been reading the story of the gingerbread man and acting it out with puppets. We then made our own gingerbread men and ladies and decorated them after they had been baked in the oven. This time though they had no time to run away as they were eaten by the children! Yum!
Nursery’s first PE session
Nursery had their first PE session this week. We played the ‘runner bean’ game. Then we moved to different musical instruments. The children really enjoyed it and can’t wait until next week!
Nursery and Reception learning about Crab Fair

Nursery stick insects

Nursery's first week
Nursery have been super busy during their first week back at school. They have enjoyed the new Nursery classroom and all the areas of provision. The children have settled well and we look forward to a lovely fun filled half term.
Nursery’s trip to the Wildlife Park

Nursery using the Beebots
Some of our Nursery children had the opportunity to use the Beebots last week in our carpet session. They had to listen to the instructions and move the Beebot on the map. This promoted the use of positional language, which we have been practising in Nursery.
