The Year Lorena were so excited to see the brand new grotto in the school grounds. They respectfully gathered with the whole school and some parishioners for the moment when Father Groody came to bless the grotto. It was a magical day, and the children were very happy to be a part of it!

Reception enjoyed visiting our parish church of St. Mary’s. We talked about baptism, and they took part in role play to explore the different parts of baptism. Reception enjoyed their visit to church and were excited to find out more about baptism.
 

This week in RE, Reception have been learning that God made each one of us and we can be part of his family through baptism. We prepared snacks together as a way of taking care of ourselves, because we are special.
