Year 2 attended a STEAM event, delivered by the Centre for Leadership Performance, at Westlakes Academy. They took part in workshops from Arco, Sellafield, React Engineering, Amentum, Nuclear Waste Services, BAE and Balfour Beatty. The children thoroughly enjoyed learning about all the jobs they do and trying on lots of safety equipment, building bridges, structures and boats as well as learning about geology. What an exciting afternoon they had being problem solvers and scientists!
