This academic year Year 5 will be fundraising for the Great North Air Ambulance. Today we had a visitor from the charity to tell us all about it. We learnt that in our area an air ambulance is never more than 25 minutes away. We were all astounded to hear that this year it will cost £9. 3 million to run the ambulances. The children finished the session by brainstorming ways that we can fundraise for this charity over the next year and help towards the cost of running it.
