Year 6 had an exciting and inspiring workshop delivered by STEM Ambassadors from Sellafield Ltd as part of Internet Safety Day. The session focused on the STEMFirst Cyber Fairy Tales Challenge, giving children the opportunity to explore the world of cyber security in a fun and interactive way.

At the start of the workshop, each child was given a lanyard and introduced to their special mission. Working in teams, they had to solve a series of puzzles and challenges in order to unlock secure cases and complete their mission. The room was filled with excitement as groups collaborated, shared ideas and tested different solutions.

Through the challenge, pupils learned about the importance of cyber security, protecting personal information and staying safe online. They developed key cyber skills. The workshop encouraged them to think like real cyber security experts, spotting clues and analysing information carefully before making decisions.

It was a fantastic hands-on experience that not only supported Internet Safety Day but also inspired many of our Year 6 pupils to see themselves as future digital innovators.
