We had a fantastic time at our first after-school running club this week!

We started with a fun game of Follow the Leader as a warm-up, practicing a variety of movements to engage lots of different muscles. The children then learned how pumping their arms can help them run faster, and we put this into practice with some exciting relay races.

To finish the session, we discussed the importance of cooling down properly after exercise.

All the children said they had lots of fun – we’re already looking forward to the next session!
