Year 1 took part in an African Drumming workshop today with master drummer Zozo. The children explored authentic African music and stories. They were encouraged to use teamwork, expression and improvisation. In addition to this, they explored rhythms and had a whole lot of fun. Drumming and rhythm is a universal language and Year 1 can’t wait to welcome Zozo back in November for more!
