We have had so much fun learning about Space and the Moon! It has been one of the most exciting Topics we have learnt about! As we came to an end, the children wanted to know more about Man on the Moon! We watched a video clip of the first Moon Walk and we talked a lot about gravity! We look at the surface of the Moon and compared it to Earth.
The children were keen to know about ‘space food,’ so we decided to create our own Space Bars using dry ingredients and sticky ingredients to hold everything in shape! We had lots of fun and used fabulous vocabulary to describe taste and texture. Some of us would love to visit the Moon and become Astronauts when we grow up, just like Astrid the Astrogirl!
