Library Visit Y5

S'mores at Forest School
Year 5 we’re glad of the campfire to keep warm around at Forest School today. They collected the wood and learnt how to build a fire. They then enjoyed toasting marshmallows to make S’mores!
Friendship Disco Year 5
Year 5 had a great time with their friends at our annual ‘Friendship Disco’ as part of ‘Anti-Bullying Week.’ They enjoyed dancing to their favourite songs and then chilling out chatting with each other enjoying some refreshments.
Panathlon Year 5
Congratulations to the Y5 children who took part in a Panathlon today coming in 2nd place. They enjoyed playing a selection of throwing, catching and target games. They all showed excellent Sportsmanship skills and were a credit to our school.
Fencing in Year 5
Year 5 had a fantastic time learning how to fence during our workshop. They learnt how to travel forwards and backwards, how to defend themselves and how to attack their opponent. All the children said they enjoyed this new experience.

Making Mezze Bowls In Year 5
As part of our D&T on Foods Around The World, Year 5 made Mezze Bowls. They used lots of different vegetables prepared by dicing, slicing, grating and ribboning. They were very sensible using the knives in a safe way. They all enjoyed eating their food.
Forest School Year 5

Year 5 Working Scientifically
