On Monday, we enjoyed a fantastic visit from the West Cumbria Rivers Trust. We took part in an engaging workshop where we learned about rivers and their features, including lots of new vocabulary.

On Tuesday, we headed to Branthwaite Scout Camp for a hands-on outdoor experience. We took part in a treasure hunt, pond dipping, river surveying and sketching, as well as lots of fun games to help us practise what we had learned.

It was a great two days that combined learning and fun, and we all came away with a better understanding of rivers.

A big thank you to West Cumbria Rivers Trust for such an enjoyable visit!
