Year 2 were tasked with the job of using a variety of materials to build a house that was strong enough that the Big Bad Wolf could not blow down. All the children worked well together in teams discussing their ideas, assigning roles to each other, constructing the houses and making adjustments as necessary. When all the houses were built the Big Bad Wolf came along and huffed and puffed as hard as he could. All the houses withstood the test and the wolf was defeated. Afterwards, the children discussed how they could improve houses if they were to repeat the task again. What an enthusiastic scientific thinkers they all are!
