In Nursery for National Storytelling Week, we had a Teddy bear Sleepover day, where the children and staff all came in wearing their pyjamas and with their favourite teddies. We shared stories as a whole class and in groups and the children chose stories to share by themselves. We had Year 5 join us to share stories in the provision in the morning and then in the afternoon in the hall with a biscuit. A great day to show the enjoyment of reading and sharing stories can bring.
