Year 3 celebrate the Feast of St. Francis

Mollie and Jaxon won the poster competition to create a poster that encouraged people to look after all of God’s Creations. We heard and reflected on St. Francis’ Canticle of the sun. We used this to help us to create posters that promote co-creators instead of de-creators. There was lots of great ideas and posters to choose from but Mollie and Jaxon won with their thoughtful inclusion of tiny details. 
We also prayed St. Francis’ Prayer of Peace and drew the image of St. Francis surrounded by all of the creatures that he loved so much.
