Year 5 were honoured to be visited by Bishop Swarbrick today after they wrote to him to ask him questions about being a Bishop. He was kind enough to give up his time to come into school to answer them. Every child in the class had a chance to ask a question and the children were captivated and inspired by his humble and honest answers. They learnt that Bishops are successors of the apostles and carry on their work spreading the Gospel. The Bishop and Father Groody also joined the children for a special St. Joseph’s day lunch of fish and chips. We are very grateful for such an amazing experience.
