The Zog trail at Whinlatter

In Reception we read the story of ‘Zog’ the dragon who wanted to win golden stars from his school for being the best at roaring, flying and breathing fire. We went on a trip to Whinlatter to find Zog in the forest. We found him in the trees and the magic golden stars we found gave us magic powers, such as growing dragon wings and butterflies above our heads. The children went on the trail around the forest looking for clues to find Zog. They roared their loudest dragon roar too. We had our dinner in the yurt, which was lovely and warm with a fire. We then made some animal houses in the woods and had a play on the adventure park with big swings and water. What a fun adventure!
