Over the last few weeks in Nursery we have been learning about an artist called Andy Goldsworthy. We have learnt that he used outdoor materials like leaves, pebbles and sticks to create his artwork. We also learnt by looking at pictures of Andy Goldsworthy’s work that he used lots of circular shapes too. We went to the forest area in school to collect some materials to have a go at creating our own pieces of artwork in the style of Andy Goldsworthy. We also had a go a creating some art work in the style of Andy Goldsworthy in the Creative Area inside too, we loved trying to recreate circular patterns.
