Year One’s Wonderful Adventure to Walby Farm Park
What an exciting day Year One had on our trip to Walby Farm Park! From the moment we arrived, everyone was full of smiles and ready for a day of adventure, learning and fun.
We had lots of excitement meeting the amazing animals, including one extra friendly goat! The children loved seeing all the different farm animals but the friendly goats were definitely a favourite! They enjoyed watching them play and learning more about how they are cared for. We also met a giant bunny, which was a huge hit with everyone. The children couldn't believe how big and fluffy it was!
There was plenty of time for adventure too. The wooden castle became the perfect place for a lively game of hide and seek, with lots of laughter, as friends searched high and low for one another. The children enjoyed exploring every corner of the play area and using their imaginations.
One of the highlights of the day was the tractor ride. Everyone climbed aboard excitedly to enjoy the journey around the farm, taking in the beautiful countryside and spotting even more animals along the way.
After all that exploring, it was time to burn off even more energy in the soft play area and on the giant slides. The children had so much fun climbing, sliding, and playing together, showing fantastic teamwork and kindness throughout the day.
Our trip to Walby Farm Park was packed with fun, laughter, and memorable experiences. The children represented St Bridget's beautifully with their excellent behaviour, enthusiasm, and curiosity. We are so proud of them and know they will remember this fantastic day for a long time!
A big thank you to all the staff and helpers who made our Year One adventure such a special day.
