To commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day, year 4 have had a fantastic day learning, celebrating and remembering. We enjoyed a street party style picnic, waved our flags and listened to war time music. We then learned about what happened on the 8th May 1945. Then, using Winston Churchill’s speech, we created artistic blackout poetry.
