Year 5 have had a busy day preparing the ground and planting trees in our school grounds. They learnt that the trees need to be a metre away from the fence and in each metre there are 6 trees which are a mixture of native trees including birch, holly and hawthorn. The spirals have been added to protect them from small mammals eating them. When it grows it will create a corridor for wildlife.
