Our Year 2 children are currently focusing on painting in their Art and Design lessons. They went in the outdoor area of the school to find some natural materials that they could use to paint with. The children found many different items and talked about which parts of the materials they would use to paint. Finally they explored making marks with the materials to see which materials gave the best effects. They were quite surprised by some of their findings.
