Year 6 experienced a taste of secondary school life at West Lakes Academy when they were invited to take part in a science lesson on light. The children experimented with different coloured lights to find out how light makes colours. By putting all the primary light colours together they learnt that they could make white light and that this spectrum of colours is what gives us the colours in televisions. The children really enjoyed their morning and are excited for September.
