This afternoon Year 2 were visited by Emma from West Cumbria Rivers Trust. She told us all about the work they do as a charity then she taught us all about the creatures that live in the River Ehen. We played ‘Who am I?’ and used tree diagrams to help us work out which of the creatures we were from the river. The workshop ended with us observing some of the invertebrates that Emma had collected from the river earlier in the day. What an exciting and informative afternoon we had!
