World Book Day 2022 in Y6
Y6 enjoyed a day of books and fun on World Book Day this year. As well as dressing up in costumes from their favourite books they spent the afternoon sharing books with the children in Y1.
Year 2 Phonics Screening success
Our wonderful Year 2 children have been celebrating their Phonics Screening success with a certificate presentation and the eating of Christmas cupcakes. They achieved some of the best results we’ve ever seen by a class. We are so very proud of them all!

World Book Day 2021 in Year 2
Year 2 had a great time celebrating World Book Day in school and from home. They shared books with each other, read in unusual places, recorded video book reviews and created book quizzes using Purple Mash.
Y1 World Book Day Reading Challenge

Y5 World Book day 2020
Y5 enjoyed creating a ‘Bedtime environment’ in order to relax and read their books. We all dressed in pyjamas, brought blankets and pillows in, had hot chocolate then snuggled down to enjoy reading. We also enjoyed reading stories to reception.
