This week in Reception, we have been reading the story The Gingerbread Man. Today, we had lots of fun making our very own gingerbread men!
We started by discussing the ingredients we needed before taking turns to mix them all together. We then rolled out the mixture and used cutters to create our very own gingerbread men. Once they were cooked in the oven, we decorated them with icing and added buttons to make them extra special!
Finally, we enjoyed eating our delicious gingerbread men! The children had a fantastic time and loved bringing our story to life through this fun, hands-on activity.
