Year 2 were extremely excited to be celebrating Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday today, as they thoroughly enjoyed learning about him, when they were in Year 1. They are also looking forward to learning more about him in their reading lessons soon. The children spent their calm time designing birthday cakes for him then they went in to the Garden of Peace to spend some time reflecting on how they can be more like him and how they can care for God’s creation.
