What a wonderful day Year 2 have had exploring books! Everyone came to school dressed in their pyjamas or as a book character. In English, they talked with each other about their favourite book characters. They used this information to score the qualities of the characters then used this to perform a speech to the rest of the class as part of ‘The Ultimate Character Challenge’. They voted for who they thought was the ultimate character and Fanatastic Mr Fox was the overall inner.
Later in the day, they choose their favourite book quote to colour and shared their favourite books with Year 5. A marvellous day was had by all.
