In Science this half term, Year 4 are studying electricity. To kick off our new topic, we learned about the differences between mains power and battery operated devices. We went on a hunt around school to find as many different types of appliances and devices as possible. Working in groups we discussed whether they were powered by batteries or mains power and why. Then we learned about how to stay safe around electricity.
