Reception visited Tullie House for a castles session. They listened to a story about a giant’s castle then went to explore the museum to see if they could find the giant’s cat. There were lots of activities in the classroom for the children to take part in too. They had great fun building castles with the construction, painting pictures of things related to castles, making shields and flags, creating stories with the wooden castle, dressing up and telling stories with puppets. The session leader commented on how engaged and well behaved the children were. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day and learned a lot about castles.
