Our Y6 children have had a gorgeous day in the sun at St Bees as a treat for outstanding SATs results. We started our trip with a fun session in the pool at St Bees school then walked to the beach to continue our day. First stop was the park where packed lunches were devoured and then we ventured down onto the pebbles. Our Y6s are clearly very hardy and totally fearless as they spent the rest of the afternoon in the sea! There was time for a well deserved ice-cream before we headed back to school. They were an absolute pleasure to take and will most definitely sleep tonight!
