Following instructions and making toast in reception 2026
In Maths this week, Reception have been learning how to follow a three-step instruction in the correct order. They carefully followed each step by putting the toast in the toaster, spread their chosen topping, and then cut it. Many of the children were very proud of themselves for completing the task independently — and they especially enjoyed eating their warm, delicious toast afterwards!
