On Friday 11th March it was our Ukraine Fundraiser day. All children came dressed in blue and yellow clothing to show love and support to the country of Ukraine.
We hosted a cake sale and coffee afternoon to raise money.
The Muffin Top Cake Boutique had their cake sale on Saturday 19th March to help raise money for Ukraine. Altogether they raised £156.00. The Muffin Top will donate their money alongside our total. Our Governing Body have kindly agreed to round our total up to £2,000.
We will be donating half to The British Red Cross and half to World Central Kitchen. So far, Red Cross teams in Ukraine have distributed over 90,000 food and hygiene parcels and provided food, warm clothes, and other aid to around 7,000 people sheltering in metro stations in Kyiv. World Central Kitchen are serving thousands of fresh meals to Ukrainian families fleeing home as well as people remaining in the country. Both are amazing causes to help the people of Ukraine
