Year 4

Year 4 created some atmospheric artwork and took part in the Remembrance Run to commemorate Remembrance Day.

Year 4 followed a recipe to bake their own biscuits. They had to use lots of skills including maths. 
 

Year 4 designed then made their very own vikings shields using a range of essential skills.

Today we further explored the concept of identity. We discussed the importance of feeling proud of ourselves and loving ourselves for who we are. Year 4 have been spreading a little joy by becoming Pebble Pixies. They collected pebbles, added colour and words of comfort then shared the pebbles around their locality to bring a little smile to passers by during these unprecedented times.

Year 4 wanted to show their appreciation for all the people who have been working hard to care for and keep the nation safe.

Year 4 are becoming experts at finding their way around their local library. This morning, we enjoyed looking at books written in different languages. How many books written in a different language can you find in your local library? 

Representatives from Y4 enjoyed competing in a gymnastics tournament. Fabulous effort all round. Well done! 

Year 4 came to school dressed in their pyjamas today. They brought in their favourite books, wrote a biography about their favourite author and spent some time enjoying sharing books with their friends in the sunshine. 

Year 4 have been learning some key hockey skills ready for an upcoming tournament.
