Goodbye Tadpoles

We said a fond fairwell to our tadpoles today.  Becca has taken them back to the pond at Florence Arts Centre as they were developing both front and back legs.  We can visit the pond to see how they are getting on a little later in the year.

School Council visits the Food Bank

Our school council visited the food bank in Egremont today. They found out what items were needed and went shopping, prior to their visit, so they could make a donation.  The children helped staff to mark up the items with the correct dates, then packed the food into boxes and helped carry the…

Throwing and Catching

We were lucky enough to get out in the good weather today to practise our throwing and catching. We used hula hoops to improve our aim and then used these skills to throw the balls to each other. ⚽️

Tadpoles in Year One

We have been taking care of our class tadpoles. We changed half of the water and replaced it with the rainwater the children collected, so the tadpoles could have a nice clean tank.
