As part of Chinese New Year celebrations, every age group across the school worked together in a series of workshops to recreate the story of the Willow Pattern on their own plates. The design was very intricate but the results were really effective.
Y6 ended another busy week by putting their mental arithmetic and timestables skills and knowledge into practise by spending the afternoon challenging each other to a series of Maths games.

As part of our week of remembrance, Y6 have studied the poem Dulce Et Decorum Est by the famous war poet Wilfred Owen. They used his thought provoking poem to create their own poetry which is both beautifully written and moving.

Y6 spent an afternoon at the library today. They returned to school with a selection of books of their choice after enjoying listening to a chapter or two of our class novel - Street Child.
