YEAR SIX PARENTS:  REMEMBER TO MAKE YOUR CHILD’S APPLICATION  FOR SECONDARY

SCHOOL BY  31ST OCTOBER OR YOU ARE UNLIKELY TO GET YOUR FIRST  CHOICE!

^^^^^

It’s time to apply for places in next year’s Reception Class (even if your child is already in our Nursery, you must apply).

If you  have friends outside school,  with children  who will turn 4 between now and 31 August 2017, please ask them to contact us for details on how to apply before 15 January (why not suggest they come to our Nursery now, too?).

We’ve lots going on next week:

Reception class children are visiting Strudda Bank Farm on Tuesday.

Year Six children are having a workshop with Age Uk, attending Mass and going the REACT Science Show.

Fr. Groody will be visiting Year Five.

The Juniors will have a workshop with an Imam on world religion .

Friday is Grandparents’ Day and we invite all grandparents to come into school from 1.15—2pm and have a game of bingo

with their grandchildren, before moving on to our  Macmillan Coffee Afternoon from 2-3pm in the hall.

All welcome (donations of cakes very gratefully received) to raise funds for this very worthy charity.

As I'm not on Facebook I just wanted to contact you to say what an amazing afternoon we had today. So much respect and admiration for the outstanding organisation of the school's summer fete. The staff and everyone involved are just amazing. So much heart and soul in everything you do. I am so proud to be able to say my daughter is a pupil at such a wonderful school. She is incredibly happy at your school and I am excited to see her thrive and grow year after year with you all.
So a final well done and huge thank you to you all. Enjoy the weekend, you all truly deserve it!
